Vindicated

These markers for the Indians who lost their lives at the Little Bighorn are a belated acknowledgement of their side of the story. For years all people heard was that Custer and his men were massacred. Reality is that the Indians were defending themselves from Custer's attack...and were in such overwheming numbers they made short work of it. They never imagined that soldiers would attack them since they were so strong in this huge village made up of many tribes. Fate was to bring despair to both sides.
