Bear

We saw bear alongside the road three different times and this is the only shot I was able to grab..a poor one at that. I discovered I needed to travel with an additional camera smaller than my SLR to keep at the instant ready for these unexpected shots. If I was in a car I might have been more capable, but with the bike you have to be mindful of balancing the quarter ton of steel and aluminum you're straddling, be conscious of gear selection, clutch, and throttle operations which can send the bike careening out of control if not attended to, and oh yeah, watching to see if the bear is heading toward you for a personal welcome to his world.
