Hot Highway Hauler

While riding in Moab, Utah, the temps were 100 degrees--and that was unseasonably cool for the area. This was one of the few calculated decisions to ride without our armored jackets---for a few miles, and at low speed through the park roads. We deduced later that we were better off with the jacket's armor protection for obvious reasons and its insulating qualities from the desert sun's relentless solar onslaught. All the Gear All the Time works....
