Sheridan Stancliff sent me- you're doing a great job documenting your adventures and conveying that motorcycling is as much a quest as it is a way to travel. Hopefully, our paths will cross and I can buy you one of your six annual beers! best- Marty Woods

Kevin--What a great trip, the photos were fantastic, a lot of people talk about such trips but you got out there and hit the road. Glad your trip went well.

I was just looking at Curtis's site, sounds like you had some riding up there like we did. Those gravel sections can make for a long day. I hope that the weather gets better for you, especially on your ride to Deadhorse, and Denali Park. If the weather does not clear for you, you could miss seeing Mt. McKinley that would not be good. Have a safe and wonderful trip. Blessings

Hi Kevin,

It was truly a pleasure meeting you and the rest of the crew. Your website is awesome and I hope it, and your forthcoming book, seriously scratches the "itch" that many a soul has suppressed and catapults those inclined onto a road of discovery.

From all of us here at Ride West BMW, keep the shiny side up and enjoy the ride!

Kevin:

6 years ago at age 56 I started riding m/c's for the first time ever (first one was a Gold Wing!). I've now got well over 100k on 6 different bikes and have never looked back. It's at the top of the list of the greatest things I've ever done. Planning for a m/c trip in Costa Rica and many more trips between now and then.

Once recommendation: lose the bungee cords holding your tailbag or any accessory. Go to ROK Straps or something equivalent for your own safety.

Hope to maybe see you when you are in the Seattle area.

The site looks great man. Your cross-country venture is definitely going to be one for the books. Thanks a bunch for taking the time to help us with the posed photography last night. It is greatly appreciated by all of us. Have a good weekend --- Sam

Kevin, Willie and I enjoyed meeting you at the BMW dealership in Oklahoma City last month and look forward to seeing you and the rest of the group riding to Alaska in the spring. It's the 12th of Oct. and our riding days for this year are just about done, looks like snow in the air today and it's creeping down the mountains around Anchorage. Please keep me posted on your departure date. Sam '06 F650GS

It takes a dear old friend who has shared the corporate insanity with you, and lifelong motorcycle enthusiast... (my Father was a motorcycle dealer), to truly recognize the message you are bringing to the table. Two-wheeled inspiration is a wonderful thang! You have hit a chord in my own "Boomer" life and once again succeeded in impressing the masses with your artistic flare. ~wonder if my 1948 Panhead could make one of your adventures? Hmmmmm...

It was a pleasure to meet you in Waterton. Ed and I wish you all the best in your new adventure. May your R bike lead you to some wonderful places (mine certainly has). We'll frequent this website for updates and photos.

Ride safe!
